Share and Care Club

Did you know that the Wilder PTSA has a Community Outreach Program? In the past this program has been aimed at the 6th graders to encourage them to fulfill 20 hours of service at Wilder and the surrounding community. This year the PTSA would like to broaden the program and offer opportunities for all students and their families to serve our community.

The Community Outreach committee has come up with some great ideas for fun ways that our kids can get involved in the community. This can include volunteering at worthy organizations and also tasks that we can do right from our school to contribute. There are cards we can make, gifts to wrap, hospitals to visit and numerous other projects that can really make a difference and reach out to groups of people that need help right in our area. Click here for more ideas!

If you and/or your child are interested in participating in this program, please join us for our monthly meetings. To get current Club meeting dates and times you can email Meyersc@msn.com to receive our monthly email update or check updates on the Parent Organizer. Children and interested parents can attend every month or whichever month works for you. Join us when you can! Some projects will not require a parent to be present but sometimes there will be some need for chaperones or drivers. This is not a LWSD affiliated club but run through the PTSA.
