Community Outreach

Helping those in need is such a rewarding and positive experience for young people. There are little ways and big ways we can all do something to make a difference in someone’s life. The Community Outreach Committee is working hard to help the whole school get excited about volunteer service in our community – and we want to make it fun too!

Current Programs:

  • 6th graders are encouraged to complete their “Wilder Community Service Project” which includes 20 hours of service in Wilder and the surrounding community. Click here for more information.

  • Any Wilder student and family can join the “Share and Care Club” meeting once a month to volunteer service in our community. . Click here for more information.

You Can Help!

You don’t have to be a 6th grader or join the club to help out! You can help us by:

  • Donating any unwanted card making supplies and unwanted cards (we’ll reuse).

  • Participating in any donation drives.

  • Connecting us to worthy charities that could use our help.

We are looking for more parents to join our committee! If you’d like to help with organizing and running this program please contact: Nadine Meyers at meyersc@msn.com.
